Step-free access between platform and train
All our metronom trains are equipped with boarding ramps. These are available in every control car at the end or beginning of the train (it depends on in which direction the train is going).
But it's easy, metronom trains always run in the same order.
To the south: Locomotive at the front
To the north: Control car at the front (incl. boarding ramp).
If you plan to travel with metronom and you can set a time, don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
We'll inform our passenger attendants, so they'll be waiting for you at the ramp.
This service is, of course, free of charge. And we will always be happy to help you even if you haven't contacted us in advance. However, a passenger attendant will always be available to operate the ramp.
If an attendant cannot be found, please push the wheelchair button outside next to the entrance door.
From Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm and on Saturdays between 7:00 am and 12:00 am, we are happy to receive your call on +49 (0)581 97 164-164.
You can also use the form further down.
A quick note: get in touch with us before you travel. Then the passenger attendant will be ready and waiting for you at the door of your metronom. We would be very happy to hear from you. It’s very simple to register your journey. You can do so online at any time (via the form further down) or by telephone from Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm and on Saturdays between 7:00 am and 12:00 am on +49 (0)581 97 164-164.
