How to find the correct ticket?
There are a lot of tickets. It depends on which route you would like to travel in the metronom.
You can board our trains with the following tickets:
- Niedersachsen-Ticket (Lower Saxony ticket) for 1 - 5 people (more information)
- Niedersachsentarif (Lower Saxony fare zone) – traveling outside of a transport network within Lower Saxony (more information here)
- Tickets issued by the transport associations in line with the valid fare zones
- HVV (Hamburger Verkehrsverbund GmbH) – travelling in and around Hamburg
- VBN (Verkehrsverbund Bremen/Niedersachsen) – travelling in and around Bremen
- GVH (Großraum-Verkehr Hannover) – travelling in and around Hannover
- VSN (Verkehrsverbund Süd-Niedersachsen) – travelling in and around Göttingen
- Flexible fare
- Quer-durchs-Land-Ticket – day ticket for the whole country for regional trains
- Gruppe & Spar 50 % – Group saver fare
- Season tickets
- BahnCard 100
- Discounted tickets (e.g. BahnCard 25, BahnCard 50)

Tickets whose fare conditions exclude the use of regional trains are not usable.
You can use metronom trains with a saver fare from Deutsche Bahn if specified at the time of booking.
